Sometimes we just need to break down and cry
Just forget the world and be sad for a night.
When you can't see, and it's harder to breathe
You're getting strong.

Every tear that falls from your pain filled eyes
is one tear closer to them stopping.
Every pain and ache you feel
You're getting strong.

When it hurts to smile
And you can't hold your head high
It's hard to remind yourself but
You're getting strong.

When the world chooses you
To beat down and abuse
When you're the one that hurts
You're getting strong.

People will tell you
To get over it and move on.
If you need a friend to help you through
And you're about to give up
Just remember
You are strong.
