Down this road she has been before.
Through it all, however crippling or heart breaking,
She has always surfaced and made it through the storm.
Countless bruises she has nursed.
Scars she has borne reminded her of all the moments she has survived.
Heartbreak never deterred her from living.
So now, here she is again.
Down this road she walks again.
Darkness and turmoil weigh her down.
Her strength slowly being drained by the deep wound that has been inflicted.
This time though, it is different.
The wound is deep.
There is no balm to sooth the ache.
No bandage to hide its severity.
it hurts so badly...
As she makes her way past the crowd,
her shoulders slumped,
her hair falling over her face to cover her sleep deprived eyes,
i can tell.
She has given up.
She knows it is over.
Her strength to go on is no more.
She has no desire to recover and rise again.
