It doesn't change
These earthly games
I bathe, I eat
And re-repeat
We live and age
In this queer cage
Where we wake and sleep
And then re-repeat
It's not at all funny
This crazy monotony
Where everything, head to feet
Just re-repeats!
A million come
To claim their tomb
They lie stand sit
Which they re-repeat
(And time doesn't fly
It's too allied
to this, spellbound
It moves round, round
It tacks, it ticks
And re-repeats)
I guess it's better to be stuck
Than to try my luck
Cause here to live life neat
I'll have to re-repeat
