Stuck In The Past Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

Stuck In The Past

I wandered down the streets in hope
To find a cure for my heart, beating fast
Though the moments come and go
I remain forever stuck in the past.

Tired of trying myself again and again
To get over the feeling glued to me
Not a single day without the prick
Oh, I wish, it had set me free.

I knew it pretty well, so did you
We could never have become 'us',
Just remain me and you till the end
It was easier to abstain the fuss.

Yet, those memories accompany me
As if forever they are to last,
Though the moments come and go
I remain forever stuck in the past.
