Sublime Intoxications
Ribbons by the rainbow spread
Come whistle to me instead
I get to see you bloom;
Free me from the colors dead
Lying in the mystic head
Relieve me of my gloom.
Come and seek my nature's past
Living in mainlands aghast
Fed by your stimuli;
I recover till you last
Hindered by the overcast
You deceive the wanton eye.
You smile as the lily hops
Your grace upon the tree tops
Living like legend seen;
Your tear of love freely drops
My train of blues quickly stops
Rose! You are evergreen!
Collecting my freedom's pride
Locked up in my wayward side
You give me life by chance;
From my clasp you gently hide
Hypnotized by mood's free ride
Wish to witness your dance.
Your petals seen holding hands
Litmus turn to color bands
Play music to the air;
Dance like golden birds in stands
Lift my spirit from the sands
To a place free of care.
