Submerged Galleon Poem by Nelly Linares

Submerged Galleon

Rating: 5.0

Heavenly notes melodized by angels,
raindrops depicting effulgent rainbows,
astonishing beauty impregnating my whole being,
and indelible amativeness overfilling
a despaired heart with exhilaration.
My whole being immersed in the ravishment of your entity...!
The anguish of the sealed ports of my heart,
vulnerable to the uttering of loving expressions
of a despondently forbidden soul...!
My insensible flesh,
anesthetized by the puissance of a fathomless love,
shivers with fervent passion,
and impressively diaphanous tenderness
with your unintended closeness.
The darkness and exhaustion of my imprisoned soul
scintillates and respires reposefully
in the disperse seconds of love,
that you altruistically regale my soul.
Regrettably, you're the involuntary captain
of a submerged galleon
that requires your inner subtle expertise
to drift from the often tenebrous Neptune's kingdom.
