Suicide Poem by Phyllis Strong

Suicide

Rating: 5.0

Soul troubled by things out of your control.

Under a spiritual strong hold.

In deep depression from things in your past.

Concealing your hurt; with a happy mask.

Inconsiderate of those you leave behind.

Devil will win if you succumb to your fate.

Ending your life is a big mistake.

Why would you end your life?
When God has a special work for you to do,
An assignment on this earth
That was ordained for only you.

This is the best poem I've seen about suicide, and mirrors my thoughts exactly. Congratulations on a job well done!

Lou, God really does love you so very much. And not just you, He loves everybody. The well known scripture John 3: 16 tells us; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Now who would do that? Give their only child to die for someone else! I tell you the truth, I wouldn’t; but for redemption Jesus was hung on the cross, a crown of thorns put on his head, mocked, spit upon, hit on the head, pierced in his side and given lashes. God let His only Son go through that for YOU, for ME, for US. Now that’s LOVE! Let God Bless You! ! Phyllis
