When the bell rang for the last time, everyone cheered
We yelled and screamed and laughed and hugged
We said our good-bye's and stepped onto our bus
We were all so glad, school was out, and summer was here
We went to our camps or stayed home and relaxed
We went swiming at a pool or a beach
We woke up at 11 and stayed up till 3
We slept all day and partyed all night
Now the air is chilling
We are out shopping for school
What happened to summer?
What happen to it?
It felt like a week, not 3 months
We now are back on our buses
Back in school
Waiting, just waiting for the summer bell
