Summer Gone.... Poem by Butterscotch Wenchester

summer has gone and I wanted it to stay
I now know those memories have faded away
there is nothing left that I can say
After all you went away.
I tell you now if it were true it would be the best
to have one more day with you
However I may worry no matter what I do
I try to put you far behind but you still pop up in my mind
I need to move on and keep strong
Not what I expected for this to happen
But its just a thing
I hope I have learned so next time I read how she feels
Before I go crazy and have another image inside my head
