Summer Madness Poem by Aimi Drew

Summer Madness

Rating: 5.0

Summer madness
Brought on by the surge
Of a late summer heat wave.
Dreams of a madman
With dark shiny hair,
And translucent eyes
That gleamed in the twilight.
Twisted romance
In my head
Wishing it wasn't so surreal.
The way I want him
May be bad
Because he's nothing more
Than an evil cad.
I can feel his gaze
Upon me,
from across the room,
burning right through me.
Twin orbs of blue fire
narrowed,
glaring at me.
