Summer Nights Poem by Stephanie Campos

Summer Nights

Laying on the grass, under a tree, in the park.
Cuddling together, me and you, in the dark.
A day to remember, that warm, summer night.
You were kissing and hugging and holding me tight.
You told me that you wished to never let go,
Not until it was the end of the world.
You whispered in my ear that you would always love me,
That forever in my heart was where you longed to be.
Then i woke up, my pillow wet with tears
Because it was just a dream and that was what i feared.
