Summit Sunrise Poem by Queen Oneeightytwo

Summit Sunrise

'Follow me
or do I follow you? '
'Do you know of a
place we can go to? '

'Yes' I say
with an enchanting smile
'It will take abit
and will be very worthwhile'

Our engines rev
as we both start out
As we glide through the dark
no cares to worry about

Through the dips and turns
he is right on my tail
The long stretch of road
reminds me of stories to tell

We finally reach it
the top of The Summit
Oh time passes quickly
so we make the most of it

Sitting and talking
and telling our stories
And soon The Sun begins
to shine its glory

He turns to me
and slowly takes my hand
With a smile in his eyes
'I'd love more time with you to spend'

I sit there silent
try to take it all in
And I so want to
spend more time with him

'We could go to the beach
I know a place with good food
Then we could take a stroll
does that sound at all good? '

He nods with that smile
that could melt The Sun
So we take off again
to go have some more fun
