Sun Poem by pranav siddharth

Sun

Day was clear
and warm.
The sky was lit
with royal bloods of mine.
I looked away
towards the horizon.
clouds and clouds and lots of clouds
of mystic shapes,
shapes from my reminiscence,
shapes from my toddlehood.
Time eluded quickly as
sands in the swathe.

I was about to set
and sky paid the respect
lit up an evening star far in the north.
Birds took the sign
and adored the sky.
Lights were still all around
but the charm was lost,
the warmth was lost.
Still far away i could see
clouds and clouds and lots of clouds
on the horizon waiting for me.
