For centuries…
We were walking on air
Floating on water
And blown away with the sand…
No boys among us
Only men
Sun baked hard men…
Long ago
We had subdued the elements
They never really had any chance
Against the soul consuming fury
Of the ancient fire
That taught us
The secret of the weeds…
Trees cannot walk
Let alone run…
That is why we never grew roots…
We can walk on air
Float on water
And fly with the sand…
