Sunny Day. Poem by chris chapman

Sunny Day.

on this fine sunny day,
may all your troubles float away,
may they flow away in the breeze,
so that for one day your mind is at ease,
a day like today brings so much joy,
even to me a teenage boy,
on a day like today,
all the kids will play,
kicking around their ball,
or chilling in the pool
you see all the pretty girls,
in swimming suits with swirls,
the ones where all the boys stare,
with that drooling glare,
you light up that barbecue,
then suddenly everyone likes you,
the girls go out to get a tan,
its an eye feast for any man,
on this fine day i havent seen one bee,
as i was out getting some vitamin d,
so basicly all you girls watch out today,
you want a relationship but the boys just want to play,
just for a bit of fun,
ignore them they are no one,
they're only after your looks,
they could'nt care if you read books,
they dont care for your interests,
they just want to take you back to their nests,
back to their bed,
the next day you wont be in their head,
make sure you wear some lotion,
for sunburn there is no potion,
hearts can easily be broken,
so dont dress skimpy to provoke'em,
if you are on here reading this,
then you are a boring one,
now get outside and enjoy this sun.
