Sunset Poem by saira banu

Sunset

Making nature its canvas,
The supreme artist sets to work,
Creating a regal masterpiece,
At every dawn and dusk.

Streaking the sky with hues galore,
Of yellows and pinks and so many more,
Painting a picture so exquisite,
With shades that compare to a thousand celestial sights.

And to the picture, he adds still blue waters sparkling in beauty,
And dolphins jumping up and down basking in its glory.

And black birds scour the vast painted sky,
Striking the golden sun which abides so high.

And the palm heads sway gently in the breeze,
Their backdrop, one of great majesty and ease.

And the the waves crash, a last touch to this art,
athis last stroke and god's best masterpiece is complete.
