Surely You Will Return To Me Poem by Adedotun Segun

Surely You Will Return To Me

As you can’t make omelets without breaking eggs
So the fish can’t do without water
No matter how many years a man spend on earth
He will surely return to where he came from
As the sun rise from the east and set to the west
Surely will it return to his place where it arose
As the hand scratch the mouth to and fro
So shall the river run into the see where it came from
As a goat wander about
It will surely return to its owner
As a bird return to its net after it journey
Thefore, you my love can’t do without me
So, my love, I wait for you patiently
Knowing, surely you will return to me
As a crab returns to its hole.
