Surreal Darkness Poem by Jinx Natta

Surreal Darkness

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I wonder,
About death,
I muse about the darkness,
And the decay.
Forever wondering,
If I’m as mad as they say.

The darkness creeps towards me,
Lurking closer by the day,
By night it suffocates me,
And I wonder if I’ll ever be okay.

I’m drowning in the darkness and despair,
There’s no way out,
I’m muffled from crying for help,
My shouts fall on deaf ears.

This nightmare isn’t ending,
And so I’m left, forever pleading,
And I wonder,
Is this darkness just surreal?
