disaster fills my state
sadness fills this void
never to avoid the inevitable
its not like i have a choice

another state of numb
another day of depression
until the day comes once again
when you are finally forgotten

still constant reminders everywhere
from the ceiling to the floors
and i keep on looking over there
thinking you'll come through that door

yet hoping you will never come
so i may not see light
wishing i can just sink down
and give up this one fight
