Surround Sound Poem by Beth Mc'Neil

Surround Sound

How sweet is the sorrow that pierces my ears
The sounds of their screaming is all I've ever yearned to hear
My most intimate dreams drawn out in the night
To be placed on a screen for others delight
The darkness within me pulses all around
As I watch them all die in surround sound
