when i look around
i see sunlight and trees
when i look at myself
i am down on my knees

praying for many
but never for you
a person so cold
to think i actually believed in you

a lie that snowballed
so far out of control
i stare into your eyes
you have no soul

putting myself down each time
i think of what i could've done
reality i must face
although it may hurt a ton

nothing new to hold on to
but maybe that's the thing
i'm supposed to be 100% happy with me
my beauty...it sings

a song that reaches every heart
truly caring and truly not
so for now i'll write my Life's Story
with out you in the plot
