Has the night blended sweet and sour?
Of beauty that catches the eye
And jealousy that despises the moral
For as we sing merry while holding the flame up high
To celebrate the moment that fades with the night
In a frozen moment when the heart yearns for more
With a glorious effect of mercy, and patience
There are rhetoric evil souls ready to ambush the greater good and peace
Vomiting venomous words of enmity and greed
Like dirty sand found in rare summer snow
But may we become triumph;
In the jungles of death and sorrow
By the arrival of the new ripening sun
