Sweet Quiet Poem by Susan LeGree

Sweet Quiet

Rating: 5.0

Chatter, clamor, smoke
and jokes
Lights flashing,
cashier's cashing..
Hard Rock music
fills the air
In a gift shop,
I stop and buy
a disk of birds' song

I know this feeling all too well, but I experience it both ways. After a long day of bird songs, I like to relax by slamming my head in my car door.

Susan, you might get that quiet when you hear the birds song. A faint little tweet, tweet, tweet just to stir the air. Top Marks and thanks for sharing this my friend. Hugs David
