Swinging Doors Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Swinging Doors

Rating: 4.0

Your heart is like a pair of swinging doors,
Every time I need to give it a push
To make it open and wide,
And after I cross the threshold
It closes itself without fail.
I can’t deny
It feels good to be a prisoner of your heart.
But sometimes I wonder my dear
What if the situation changes,
Then your hands will shove my body hardly,
The entrance will transform into exit
And I will be out of it at once
Stumbling on the ground,
Again it will close itself immediately.
I can’t deny
It’ll feel bad to be thrown out of your core.
Oh how I wish
Your heart was not like a pair of swinging doors!

Heart comparing with door is so amusing and heart touching. Very nicely and wisely this poem has been speculated. Thanks for sharing. ....10
