Switching Places Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

Switching Places

We look nothing alike.
But we decided this while we were riding a bike.
Let’s switch places, and see the look on everyone’s faces.
You go there and I’ll go here.
We’ll meet back up at the pier.
We really thought we could pull it off.
When they start to notice, do a pretend cough.
All we have to do is put on a hat.
But not in front of the cat.
We walk down the stairs in each other’s clothes.
Everyone noticed right away.
But that’s okay.
The fun we had could never go bad.
