Tagore Song (304) Whole Night Passed Awakening, Alas Stole Sleeping From My Eyes Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (304) Whole Night Passed Awakening, Alas Stole Sleeping From My Eyes

(jagorone jai bivabori anakhi hote ghum nilo hori mori mori)

Alas, the whole night passed being awake
He stole sleep from my eyes
The eyes are thirsty for whom I am roaming alone
No sign of him
Alas his flute filling my heart, alas his flute - -
Alas there are no words, yet who knows what I hear
My heart is filled in sadness eyes soaked in tears
Dancing in its shadow, dancing whole day and night
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
