Take Me Poem by Taher Shemaly

Take Me

Far, as far away as my own destiny
take me O winds of memories of sorrows
Far afar, away from the near and the far
where my dreams are but legends of morrows
Take me O breeze of the gentle sensation
take me where my beloved is lying
Through the turbulent and the violation
where my peace of mind shall be hiding

Sweet is the rose that raises upon thee
O miraculous tomb laid over scented thyme
Above the Heavens living as to be a free
where angels of the Mighty sing in a rhyme
Close the eyes o' thy petals Ye one so sweet
sooner but not later shall I arrive by the wind
And by this stem of adamant, the sky shall I greet
with a smile from within thy such sugary a blend

Here lies the one and the only o'er the course of time
by chains and tears I am bound to thee on thy blosom
Where to is my escape if not by this music and chime
over the gleaming waters of the heart and its bottom
Wake me up not from such a dream O beautiful one
and spare me not from the gazing eyes of heavenly bliss
Take me O winds of memories of sorrows to the one
far afar, away from the world of insanity and its mess
