Take Me Back Poem by Tiya Sen

Take Me Back

O Fate, take me back to the sun rises that gave me a fresh start.
Take me back to the pure seas that made my spirits soar.
Take me back to the soft breeze that caressed all my wounds.
Take me back to the familiar roads that always ended in smiles.
Take me back to the protective walls that forever echoed love.
Take me back to the beautiful gardens that made me patient.
Take me back to the generous hearts that made me complete.
Take me back to the warm lap that vanquished all my cares.
Take me back to the indulgent arms that made me strong.
Take me back to the kind voices that kept me innocent.
Take me back to the tender glances that made my wrongs right.
Take me back to the non-judgemental thoughts that made me who I am.
Take me back to the time and place where it was extremely easy to be me.
