an impulse a feeling
take me high today
made me feel like
climbing a mountain
leaping from the top
or being top dropped
just to enjoy the fall
done the long drop
from a plane but
never base jumped
never will;
so enjoyed this
long hard climb
back into mountains
must have been
megaphone calling
natures siren call
scenic memory images
playing imaginative mind games
need to breathe mountain air touch the sky
stand on rooftop of world
stretch arms out to sky space
look down upon creation invigorating energizing

It's very hard to know how we are lifted to those peak experiences. Imaginative reaching is an important part, and indomitable daily struggle pave the way, but it comes on its own time like a fresh breeze. Well evoked.
