Take Me Please Poem by nat jones

Take Me Please

Rating: 3.5

as i run from the past
everything goes down so fast
gambling with life, looking for sacrifice,
everything seems gone, what went wrong,
taking drinks like nothing, later to find,
im on the brink of disaster, looking for a relaxer,
nothing to lose, except the booze,
as i cry i look for a lie maybe the ultimate high,
even if i die, i wouldnt care, i got nothing but despair,
as i lay in the bay looking into the sky for hope,
i find myself thinking of nothing but dope,
lifes gone, everything is wrong,
hate myself, look at yourself
see nothing but shame in a life full of fame,
what do you want, nothing to give, trying to live,
nothing but darkness, someday well be brighter maybe lighter,
as i walk a thin rope looking for dope, or something to cope, there is no hope,
this disease,
take me please
am i dead or alive or just deprived
i want to die or is this all a lie,
no its the truth, there always living proof, look around,

Im coming down

try your best and your hardest to be sober and rely only on yourself. If you dont like your life you have the power to change it. you can do it.

Sounds like racing thoughts.
