In the shadow of the Holy Cross,
In the footsteps of our Savior, Christ,
In the road to Calvary,
With piety and righteousness,
Take on the world!

With the Holy Spirit as Guide,
With your conscience to decide,
By God’s Ten Commandments to abide,
With Lord Jesus Christ beside,
Take on the world!

With Heaven as your soul’s aim,
Without a sin, blunder or blame,
Ignoring all worldly fame,
Trouncing the devils in their game,
Take on the world!

With the Holy Bible’s wisdom,
With eyes set on God’s Kingdom,
With the angels and saints to welcome,
Take on the world!
