Tangled In Life Poem by Albert Oktovianus

Tangled In Life

Some man I am
Looking sharp, acting sharp
Too sharp maybe

Some man I am
Smiling all the time, jovially passing
Too soon maybe

One thing I can learned until now
Is not the meaning of being a man
One thing I have to learn until now
Is not the reason to be a man

Some man I am
If I can touch the essence of life
Some man I am
If I can whisk on the face of destiny

I am a man
For trying to live and let live
For trying to breathe my last breath until it’s time

(March 2005)
