They are cloaked in ambiguity their stories are never clear
From Politicians and the Media believe quarter of what you hear
The masters of deception they operate that way
The bigger fool you must be to believe all they say,
One lie leads to another lie that seems to be so true
And they are good at lying that's to give them their due
They lie to sell a story or to cover for deceit
For to live true to the higher self to them too hard a feat,
The Media and Politicians are tarred with the one brush
With big news to the gullible public they seem in a big rush
They are the masters of spin and of ambiguity
And they share so much in common they lie so easily,
Of the lovely word known as honour they make a mockery
But then again you won't find one as cynical as me.
