Tattoo On Your Arm Poem by Doris Cornago

Tattoo On Your Arm

Rating: 5.0

On my
70th birthday
The throng came
bearing flowers, fruits,
Cakes, greetings but alas
My heart misses someone 💔
In my solitude long after dark
Felt pinpricks, on eyes & hands
Can't sleep a wink, recalling the
Many times we've run, all for fun
Recalling the steep climb, rolling
Over low valleys, tough volleys
Am your orange ball at your
Beck and call, so tumble
No complaint on a fall
At last you came in
Proudly showing
Painstakingly
Me tattoed
on your
arm

For my beloved
Thank you for coming
In the nick of time
