Tea Stall Visit. Poem by C. Muralidara Kannan

Tea Stall Visit.

Rating: 5.0

I come here to have
the most popular and
Most refreshing hot beverage
They offer it to you
Not in a cup
But in a glass half full.

It is a stall sans a wall
Nor an accommodating hall
Tea stall that's how they call
Beware of the bench, lest you fall.

From there, give a loud call
Got your glass, that's all.
My place has many a stall
At every walk to enthral

Here are tea stalls plenty.
Have a glass of tea
With a furl of hot fog from the glass
Blended with a curl of smoke, alas!
Puffed out rounds and rounds
By the out standing friends.

It is not just just the beverage
The gossips get wider coverage
From local charms to global alarms
Here, a vociferous rendezvous forms.

Folks force in and force out
For the tea stall is a timely hide out.
