Timeless shadows in my eyes when I awake,
Promises sleep that I will not break,
Rescues me from my own prison,
Convinced me against all reason.
Drifting along the ancient riverbed,
Dejavu of life after I am dead,
Each breath I take is imprinted in the sand,
Scatters my ashes across the desert land.
The earth seeks me for the last time in centuries,
My life is its own legend of all fallen legacies,
I was the one that could never be,
But I have become the one with a never ending story.
