Teardrop

Your remoteness smells
like another familiarity
My love everywhere without you
is sleepy
Hastening again for solitude
Comes once again nothing less new

My master, I am leaving
in silence like a mute
Is in pain left side of my soul
Like the fear of God's disappearing
You are not crying
no teardrops
It is on earth
'why' 'what for' 'but'
dropping from your eyes

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
