Tears Fall Down Poem by Rik Bertrand

Tears Fall Down

Tears fall down, down and round
Tears fall down and there is no one around
Tears fall down, and no one will know,
Tears fall down, and a river does flow.

Sadness dwells in this heart of mine,
It’s a Sadness that has fermented in time.
Sadness that makes a grown man cry,
A Sadness that we should all deny.

Tears fall down, down and round
Tears fall down and there is no one around
Tears fall down, and no one will know,
Tears fall down, and a river does flow.

Pain from the sorrow that I have bestowed
Pain from the friendships, which are lost or sold.
Pain from all the trouble I have truly caused,
Pain from the loved ones I have lost

It is all this that causes the…Tears

Tears fall down, down and round
Tears fall down and there is no one around
Tears fall down, and no one will know,
Tears fall down, and a river does flow.

There is no forgiveness for the thought I have of you,
There is no forgiveness for my words I hold as true
There is no forgiveness for the love we thought but never dared,
Or for the cuddles, kisses and hugs we both virtually shared.

Tears fall down, down and round
Tears fall down and there is no one around
Tears fall down, and no one will know,
Tears fall down, and a river does flow.

The tears of a dying fool may never be expressed
They will fall and fall and fall, into the river they rest.
Sadness, Pain, and forgiveness they can tear you apart
It’s either cry all the craziness out, or rip out your own heart.

REB (FEB 2012) I wrote a poem in the 90's about tears forming a river, cant find it so i rewrote it)
