Tears Fallen Poem by Sierra Case

Tears fall as the world moves on
Standing still dizzy and afraid
The world as I knew it had changed
For anyone else it was the same
I fall to the ground with the tears that I cry
Planting my face into my palms to hide the tears
I feel all alone and ashamed
Arms suddenly, but slowly grasp around my shoulder
Everything felt a little better, but not normal
I laid back on him and uncovered my eyes
He kissed my forehead
I cried and wished I was
Not where I am
No here, not this place
Anywhere with him
Just not here
