Tears Of The Moon Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

Tears Of The Moon

Rating: 5.0

Stories under the sun
Rivers in the desert
Smiles of sadness
Beams bearing hate
Wicked hearts on the realm
Thrones of wreckless dynasties
Light within the darkness
Like joy within the pain

Tears of the moon
Savior from the fears
Rebirth of hope
That rolled down the slope

Stars dancing like royals
The night breeze is for the warriors
Midnight stories of secrets
Werewolves paradise lacking merits
But the moon smiles with joy
Another barking dogs' revelation

Tears of the moon
Life of owls and bats
Happily kissing shooting stars
Fast, moving like rockets
Shining like diamonds

Tears of the moon
The art of nature's hands
Chandeliers are the skies
Night turns to silver when they flow

Wow this is great. Before I read it, it seemed to be long - but after reading, it was so short. I really enjoyed reading it. And to my own point of view, the moon inspires a large number of poets. Please do visit my poem about the moon, it is titled as the moon tale
