Unfading Love Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

Unfading Love

When you are far where my thought can reach
I'm born in a muse you are
Till you see me in dreams and prayers again

I Play a song, to sing along
About a relative in a distant
I know you feel it like me where you are
The only wish is, if you were here
And to the thought, I adhere
I guess, that's what my heart prefers

Dancing in memoirs of when you were around
Had my heart in pounds
Joy ascended mounds
On brims, it would flaunt
The deep which is now facing haunt

The other day I pictured
Who then, is not a dreaming soul
Such a thought frees one from a sad feel
It's just that something will always be wrong
And answers of questions would rest unfound

Yeah,
It sounds like another Makaveli's song
The Earth is the heaven
The Bible is another poetic riddle
Verses like a sound of a fiddle
People be the angels
Who sometimes fall on platforms of heaven

The poem shall be short I wrote
Now it's like a lost love poem
Or another funeral hymn
But unknowing is deadly
Much love was gained in a brother
Despite all the barren absence
Shit never changes, does it?

Hold on to what's best
Another day, another blessing
Tend your soul from the fouls
It sounds like a talk with self
But I know how it can help another

A beautiful philosophical reflection nicely penned in persuasive expressions with conviction. A work of an intricate mind. Thanks for sharing, Ndina.
