Technology To Destroy - No Ability To Escape

Now More People With iPhones Than Access To Clean Water
Testimony of world going insane, turning into a mental asylum.

Theoretical physicists in Cambridge, living a life in extraordinarily
Privileged bubble, enjoying the celebrity status of genius.

Tempted to regard themselves as the pinnacle, splendid isolation
Celebrity due to bestsellers-ivory tower is getting taller & narrower.

Trexit is the nationalist-fascist new move, a passionate marriage of
Demagogue Trump & Boris Johnson's treacherous exit.

The dark emotional underbelly, the massive rejection of reason in America
And England is surely aimed at Cambridge - as much as anyone.

Invasion of refugees' security threat - A cry of anger by common people Abandoned by their democratic leaders, the know-it-all intellectual elite.

Local folks have been made foreign tourists in their own country
They, at last, found voices to reject celebrities-expert advice & guidance.

Working class adversity of economic consequences of globalization, artificial Intelligence and accelerating technological change.

Extended job destruction accelerate widening economic inequality around the World - stocks, bonds, gold and expensive real estate in California.

Enormous profits for the 1% who employ fewer people, Joseph's creative Destruction turns out to be socially devastating, politically destabilizing.

In search of a New deal - more than at any time in our history, human species Need to work together, break down walls - build new bridges of civilization.

Awesome challenges, climate change, nuclear weapons, Overpopulation, water Shortages, the human race at its most dangerous moment of its development.

With malice intent, we are technologically able to destroy the planet on which we Live, but we have not yet developed the capability to escape mother Earth.

Footnote - Poetic variation on Stephen Hawking: This is the most dangerous time for our planet, The guardian, December 3,2016.
