be specific
and tell me everything you love
everything you hate
like my eyes, my hair
my nose, my ears
all the things you wish that could change
even if it's just the way i talk
that bothers you to no end
don't be reticent
i want to hear your critical side
because it seems you hold a lot in your mind
i'd rather you be constructive
then quiet and try to hide
all that you feel inside
i know i walk with an itch
and speak with a twitch
yeh, i know that i am hard to look at
and be with at times; all times
and yeh i know that...
i'm like a pest who won't leave you alone
but i'd like you to know
that i only bother you so
because i like to be around you
and hear about your day
i like all the things that you say
i love you in every single way
but tell me, cause i don't know
what you like, what you don't
what you'd like to be when you grow old
where'd you like to travel to
and why'd you like to go
be specific
tell me everything that you do and don't
things you'd do and things you won't
i want to be aware just in case
i try to do something to your distaste
really tell me everything
cause i really want to hear
