Temporary Poem by Cookie Matzii

Temporary

Never in my wildest dreams,
Have I ever seen someone so wonderful, or so it seems.
Given the chance to know someone like you,
Oh, I must say it's a dream come true.
I know you are unaware that I exist,
Hell, I don't care, you're just so hard to resist.
You give me butterflies in my tummy,
looking at you, you're just so, so yummy.
You give me goose bumps and it feels so creepy,
But what the hell, it's a lot better than feeling dingy.
And I know this is all just a big fantasy,
you're just another guy,
and this, it's just temporary.

So, I'll just put it there, let out my heart.
Give it my best throw,
throw it away like a dart.
And because I know nothing lasts forever,
I'll live this life like I've never been better.
I'll stake it out,
just let things fly.
'Cause I know in the end..
all one of us must die.
