Tenderness Poem by Chamindra Hettitantirige

Tenderness

She came to me asking for love
She wanted shade, warmth and protection
Knowing so well that I can't live without her

She took advantage from my good nature
She used my tenderness as a weapon
Once she got it all and went away
Now she is back asking for more..

Am I her boyfriend or lover?
Am I the one she use to fall back on?
I am lost with this questions all the time
But, I cannot get her out of my mind

So here I go again giving what she want
Hugs, kisses and protection and more
She is taking my tenderness for granted
If only she knows that I love her so..
