Terror - Poem by Lilyann Monahan

I run in terror from myself,
hoping they won't see,
the agony that fills my heart,
the moods won't let me be.
I flee in madness that persists,
my mind has no control,
please let me rest please,
allow me peace,
don't consume my hurting soul.
