Thank You Poem by Karen Fisher

Thank You

To the man that I love
and to whom I am grateful,
the one who I promised
I'd always be faithful.

To have and to hold
'til death do us part,
the one who owns me
has control of my heart.

I love you so much,
didn't know it could be
so special, so different
you're perfect to me.

Without you I'm lost,
I feel empty and weak
longing to see you
or just hear you speak.

Your voice is so soothing
it helps me get through
the painful long days
that I'm without you.

Nothing can top what
our future has in store,
it's all thanks to you
the man I adore.

The thought of me spending
the rest of my life
with you right beside me
as husband and wife

fills me with hope
gives me strength and desire
to be someone better,
set goals so much higher.

It's a dream come true
only dreamed of by most
the work of Our Father,
Son and Holy Ghost.

Thank You Dear Lord
for your love and devotion,
thank you for Jeff
and his magic love potion,

for each tear that falls
from joy or from sorrow,
for yesterday, today,
and of course for tomorrow,

for never giving up.
being patient with us,
for all your forgiveness
and the courage to trust.

Thanks for the life
we are about to begin
walking with you Lord,
learning to live without sin.

Amen
