Thank You Canada Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Thank You Canada

Thank you Canada

I thank the New Law
Now doctors have the rights to take life
Thank you Canada.

How I wish I could live harmless life! ! !

To do so I searched, searched…
I found it in one way…
Only one…

Only way not to harm is way out
Out of town or the life
Choosing cave or desert, or the death,
Anything of the rest is a harm in one way.

How can I eat fruits or a corn on the cob with no harm?
Am I not throwing some part out?
Isn't that the food of mother earth, animals?

How I wish I could live harmless life! ! !

Oh cities and big towns
You are made of bricks, concrete and asphalt
In the church kneel sinners
So do I and beg you:
'Will you please kick me out?
I am puke and vomit, poison in tummy and in mouth
I deserve removal
Throw me into cave or ocean or desert, or grave.'

This will be last nagging
I swear!
