Thank you friends for your surprised home visit.
It's so cold outside that my pond water starts to freeze.
Storm Decima left behind its sheets of frozen ice.
A thick white blanket spreads under sunless sky.
No wind combs through trees this late afternoon, when you arrive.
My white pine trees stand under a sad veil of late Autumn.
We are so happy to see you come.
Your friendly gazes and good smiles warm up our hearts.
Even you can't stay long for your special welcome
We appreciate your visit after traveling one thousand miles.

CÁM ƠN BẠN TỚI THĂM NHÀ

Cám ơn bạn tới thăm chơi
Bây giờ lạnh quá, nước đông mặt hồ
Decima đá còn đông.
Hôm nay không nắng, bầu trời trắng phau.
Cuối chiều, không gió rung cây
Khóm thông lặng đứng, ôm sầu cuối thu.
Gặp nhau, tay bắt mặt mừng
Nụ cười, ánh mắt, ấm lòng tình thân.
Tiếc thay, bạn chẳng ở lâu
Nhưng mừng bạn tới ngàn xa dặm đường.
