Now I'm alive for the first time, Before I was entombed..
Wrapped in earthly fetters, A sinner from the womb.
You opened up my blindness, You loosed my speechless tongue
You healed my heart of sorrow, My new life has begun!
My eyes now see your wonder, You gave my soul a home
My treasure is now In Heaven, Such joy, I've never known !
I sing a brand new medley, It's from the old, old songs
Because I am at peace now, I'm right where I belong.
My heart now knows your Spirit, My ears now hear your word
Of grace and of forgiveness, Such love I've never heard!
My walk is now so different, My choices all brand new
To think that all my life. Has changed because of you!
You're the brightness of my noonday, The glow of eve's retreat..
My morning food is manna, Found sitting at your feet.
With you I am at home now, At last my soul's at rest
Anticipation fills my day, My pen can ne’er express!
Now I'm looking for your coming, when you appear in full array
Now I'm waiting for that hour, Now you’re my joy each day!
